About Christa Hill, LCSW
Helping Women Heal, Grow, and Reconnect With Themselves
I understand what it feels like to carry emotional weight while still trying to show up for everyone else.
I understand that life can bring seasons of deep change, grief, healing, reinvention, and rediscovery. Beyond my professional experience, I’ve personally navigated marriage, motherhood, divorce, loss, family challenges, grief, and the process of finding myself again. Those experiences deepened my compassion, strengthened my purpose, and continue to shape the supportive and honest space I provide for women today.
My work is centered around creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women who are navigating anxiety, grief, stress, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and personal growth.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe therapy should feel human, supportive, and grounded in real connection. My approach combines compassion, accountability, emotional processing, practical coping tools, and honest conversation.
I recognize that healing is not always linear. Sometimes people enter therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, unsure of how to move forward, or tired of carrying everything alone. My goal is to help clients feel emotionally supported while building the confidence, awareness, and tools needed to create healthier and more fulfilling lives.
My Approach
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Supportive Therapy.
Therapy is individualized because every client’s experiences, needs, and goals are unique.
Why I Do This Work
I believe many women spend years surviving, caring for others, minimizing their own needs, and carrying emotional burdens silently.
Therapy can become the place where healing begins, boundaries strengthen, confidence returns, and life starts to feel meaningful again.
Helping women reconnect with themselves is one of the most important parts of the work I do.
The H.I.T. Framework
A grounded approach to helping women feel supported, emotionally clear, and more connected to themselves.
You do not have to keep navigating everything by yourself.
I provide a supportive, honest, and nonjudgmental space where women can speak openly about the things they may not feel safe discussing anywhere else.
My approach combines compassion, emotional support, practical tools, and real conversation. Together, we work to help you better understand yourself, improve emotional wellness, strengthen boundaries, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with the version of yourself that may have been lost underneath stress, survival mode, or years of putting everyone else first.

What Clients Are Saying!
“Working with Christa Hill has been one of the most grounding experiences I’ve had. What sets her apart isn’t just her clinical expertise — it’s the way she makes you feel genuinely seen. She meets you exactly where you are, with the kind of warmth and empathy that lets you know she actually gets it, while still holding the steady, professional presence you need to do real work. Christa doesn’t just listen — she helps you make sense of yourself. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”— J. Marshall
“Not everyone grows up with a foundation that supports authenticity and personal growth—and I didn’t. Christa helped me recognize the patterns I was stuck in and challenged me to do the work to change them. She meets you with compassion, but she also pushes you to be honest with yourself. That’s where the growth really happens.”— M. Davenport
“For several years, my daughter struggled with self-esteem, trust issues, and a deep fear of stepping into adulthood and exploring the world on her own. As a parent, that’s a difficult thing to watch, because you want to protect them, but you also know they have to find their own strength.— Javid L. Jenkins
Christa Hill played a critical role in helping my daughter do exactly that.
Through her care, patience, and consistent support, she created a space where my daughter felt seen, heard, and safe. Over time, I watched my daughter begin to open up, grow in confidence, and take steps forward that once felt impossible to her. Christa didn’t just help her talk through her challenges, she helped her build the tools to face them.
What stood out most to me was how supportive she was of my daughter’s individuality, her interests, and her personal journey. She didn’t try to shape her into someone else, she helped her become more of who she already was.
Today, my daughter is in a much stronger place, more confident, more willing to explore life, and more trusting of herself and others. I truly believe Christa Hill was a major part of that transformation.
I’m grateful for the work she’s done, and I would highly recommend her to any family looking for a therapist who is not only skilled, but genuinely invested in the people she serves.”
As I approached 50, I realized I was burned out, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by perimenopause, and scared I wasn’t truly living the life I wanted for myself. I knew I needed support, and I specifically wanted a therapist who could relate to the experiences of Black women. That search led me to Christa. From the very first session, Christa made me feel safe, seen, and understood. She is warm, relatable, honest, and creates a judgment-free space where I can be fully transparent about my fears, insecurities, and goals. What I appreciate most is her balance of compassion and accountability. She supports my growth while also challenging the limiting thoughts and patterns that were holding me back. Since starting therapy, I’ve become more emotionally aware, more intentional about my well-being, and more committed to prioritizing myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. For Black women considering therapy: you deserve a space where you can be heard, supported, challenged, and reminded of your worth. In my experience, Christa provides exactly that.-C. Lowery
“I started therapy feeling emotionally overwhelmed trying to manage stress, relationships, and the weight of life while still showing up for everyone else. I needed a safe space to process, heal, and grow.— K. Moore
Working with Christa has been genuine, comforting, and life-changing. She creates a space where I feel heard, supported, and never judged. Because of that, I’ve been able to open up honestly, work through difficult emotions, and grow in ways I didn’t expect.
Since starting therapy, I’ve become more self-aware, emotionally grounded, confident, and stronger at setting healthy boundaries in my relationships. I feel more hopeful about my future and more secure in myself.
What stands out most about Christa is her compassion, warmth, patience, and ability to truly listen. She doesn’t rush me or make me feel judged. She helps guide me toward solutions while still giving me the space to process in my own way.
Therapy with Christa has been one of the best investments I’ve made in myself. I truly believe I was led to the right therapist.”
“Mrs. Christa has been my therapist for about 4 years now and I am extremely grateful for her! She's helped me navigate so many life experiences. I'd be is such a different place if I didn't have her guidance. Even if you don't want to start with the big things she'll never push you to share what you're not ready to. She's the best therapist I've ever had. I definitely recommend beginning with her. Your life will be changed for the better.”— M. Rydel
